The museum renovation is composed of a new 125th Street facade and entry pavilion, new galleries for the permanent collection, an auditorium, catering facility, museum shop, and storage and mechanical spaces. The improved facade and entry enhance circulation, tighten security, and bring natural light into the subterranean spaces.
